Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation has a well-equipped Specialized Research and Reference Library with a built up area of more than 10,000 Sq/ft. At present, the Library holds around 10,000 books covering the areas of Public Finance, Accountancy, Management, Taxation Laws & Allied Laws. Further exclusive collection of Books/Reports on Taxation Enquiry Commission, Tax Reforms Committee and Report of the Sales Tax Enquiry Commission are also available.

The Library also holds:

  • 15 offline journals
  • 4 e-journals and one online database EPWRF- ITS
  • Access of E-resources and E-journals of the ICSSR Library
  • Collection of GIFT Publications, Working papers, Project/Research Reports, Policy Notes prepared by the GIFT Faculty.
  • Huge collection of donated books and journals donated by :
  • Smt. Leela Gulati (W/o late Prof. I S Gulati, Public Finance Expert and Kerala State Planning Board Chairman)
  • Late Professor K. K. Subrahmanian (Centre for Development    Studies)
  • Late Sri. C K Subrahmanian (Former Superintendent of Central Excise Department) and
  • Late Prof. N Krishnaji (Centre for Development Studies)

The Library Membership is limited to GIFT Faculty, Staffs, Research scholars and PGD-GST students.The Library provides its readers a feel of homely atmosphere with an extended balcony and a spacious reading room which echoes the natural music of the wind.
