Faculty Recruitment Notification
Gulati Institute of Finance and Taxation [GIFT], an autonomous institute of Government of Kerala, is affiliated to Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) for its Ph D Programme and a recognized research centre of the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR).
GIFT invites applications for the following faculty positions:
For all the above posts academic/research/teaching/training/legal/administrative experiences in Public Finance, Taxation/GST/Governance/Budgeting will be considered as an added advantage
Pay scales for the faculty positions are based on the 7thUGC pay scale (at Academic level 13A for Associate Professor and Academic level 10 forAssistant Professor). Higher pay may be given based on the recommendation of the selection committee considering the academic credentials of the applicant.
Eligibility criteria for faculty positions
Associate Professor:PhDwith a minimum eight years of teaching/ research experience in a University/College/Institutes of national repute, excluding the period of doctoral research and at least seven publications in UGC approved/Scopus indexed journals/. Age limit55 years as on 30-04-2023
Assistant Professors: Ph D in the relevant field with at least 55% marks at the postgraduate level for General category and 50% for the reserved category andat least two publications in UGC approved/Scopus indexed journals. Those who have submitted the thesis for final evaluation may also apply.Age Limit: 45years as on 30.04.2023 (5 years relaxation for reserved categories)
