INDIAN COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH (ICSSR)
|ICSSR is an autonomous institute under the Government of India promoting social sciences research in the country. It has recognised GIFT as one of the ‘recognised research institutes’. Hence, the Institute is eligible to receive grant and fellowships for specified research activities and programmes. ICSSR has been providing doctoral fellowships for full-time PhD scholars and salary protection for employed scholars at GIFT.
COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (CUSAT)
GIFT is a Research centre of Cochin University of Science and Technology from 2018.
NATIONAL SKILL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (NSDC)
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship had granted affiliation to GIFT as an NSDC Training Partner. Since GST was introduced as the most important flagship program of the Govt. of India, NSQF aligned skill training was considered as important to support the better application of GST. NSDC affiliation permits GIFT to become a credible and recognized center for GST related training and also allows us to open various centers all over India. The ultimate objective of setting up of NSDC Cell at GIFT is to promote skill based courses in GST
